Southwest Regional Communications Center, also referred to as SWRCC, has been providing 911 call-taking, CMED Coordination, Fire, and EMS dispatching since 1983. We process over 100,000 calls for service annually for fifteen cities and towns in Fairfield County and one city in New Haven County, as well as pre-hospital communication for six partner hospitals. SWRCC also provides emergency medical pre-arrival instructions for 9 cities and towns. SWRCC recently moved into a brand new center in 2019 with six available positions as well as ample room for expansion.
